Paul Luvera on Trial Strategy (DVD)

Earlier this year Washington lawyer Paul Luvera obtained a $40 million verdict against Edwards Lifesciences Inc., which failed to warn users about dangers of a machine that malfunctioned and literally cooked a man's live heart in 2004. It isn't the first giant verdict for Luvera, who has also obtained verdicts of $44 million in Oregon, $29 million in Idaho, as well as dozens of multi-million settlements, including one for $75 million. He is the past president of the Inner Circle of Advocates, a member of the International Academy of Trial Lawyers, and a long time teacher at the Trial Lawyers College with his friend Gerry Spence.

Trial Guides is honored to announce the release of Paul Luvera on Trial Strategy, a four-DVD set, capturing his acclaimed December 2007 lecture at the Fairmont Hotel in Seattle. The presentation, originally credited for live CLE credit by the Washington State Trial Lawyers Association, will serve as CLE credit in some states. Luvera joins his fellow Inner Circle members Rick Friedman, Patrick Malone, Don Keenan and Jim Perdue at Trial Guides. Luvera is also preparing a book on trial strategy for Trial Guides.

"Paul Luvera is a national treasure to plaintiffs' trial lawyers, and so is this video. This program came just before Paul's stunning $40 million-dollar verdict against a medical device manufacturer, and presents a day's worth of priceless trial advocacy tips that went into that and countless other trial victories. It now allows lawyers across the country to sit at the foot of a master who, unlike many former trial titans, is willing to share the fundamental values and techniques that are part of being a great trial lawyer."
-Dennis Donnelly, Immediate Past President of the Inner Circle of Advocates
