Remote Depositions: Benefits and Best Practices for Pandemics and After - On Demand

Rick Friedman, Lindsey Berg, Jim Gilbert and Brian McKeen
$65.00

Format

Description

Much has changed since COVID-19 infected our society. But not all changes are necessarily bad. The best example of this is the rise of the virtual deposition. Instead of constantly traveling everywhere, lawyers now have the option to take depositions remotely. Much of the country has become well versed in the use of video conference software, and many attorneys have long touted the benefits of remote depositions.

Rick Friedman rarely, if ever, takes in person depositions. He has invited two other lawyers who also share a preference for remote depositions, Jim Gilbert and Brian McKeen, to discuss the benefits and best practices of remote depositions. Joining them is Lindsey Berg, Jim’s trial paralegal, to help demonstrate the ins and outs of the many technical aspects (like document sharing) of successfully taking a remote deposition. Together, these presenters offer insights and examples of how they have improved the way they try cases by adopting this practice.
