Steven Shaw

Steven Shaw has been practicing plaintiff’s personal injury law since 2002. In 2012, Steve began consulting with other plaintiff’s attorneys on cases involving Medicare secondary payer compliance. Since then, Steve has worked with firms around the nation on all types of lien resolution issues, specializing in the analysis of the duties of Medicare beneficiaries after personal injury recoveries.

Steve is actively involved in the National Medicare Secondary Payer Network (MSPN), serves as an advisory member on its board of governors, and is co-chair of its liability committee. He is also a fellow of the Certified Medicare Secondary Payer Professional (CMSP) certification program and serves as one of its instructors. Steve speaks at many conferences and continuing education seminars on the topic of Medicare secondary payer issues and compliance.

Steve grew up in North Carolina and California, but has made Washington State his home since 1999, where he lives with his wife Michelle and four children.
