Biography

Ned Good began practicing law in California in 1952. Ned was a trailblazing trial lawyer.

Over a career that spanned five decades, he earned local and international fame as a pioneer and expert in aviation cases, product defect cases and vehicular negligence cases. His firm set records for some of the largest settlements and verdicts and established one of the most important principles of liability law in aviation cases in California.  His expertise in aviation law arose from his experience as an airplane pilot.

Among his many accomplishments and honors was his service as President of the Inner Circle of Advocates, The California Trial Lawyers Association (predecessor to CAOC), and The Los Angeles Trial Lawyers Association (predecessor to CAALA). Ned Good was elected to CAOC's first class of admittees to its Hall of Fame. Ned was known for his civility and meticulous preparation.

In addition to his successful practice, Ned spent much time teaching, writing, lecturing and mentoring other lawyers. Civility and meticulous preparation were his trademarks. He diligently worked on his Trial Guides book for injured clients The Lawsuit Guide with co-author Professor Greg Munro.

Ned Good passed away on December 26, 2020.
