
Dr. Croft has been actively engaged in traumatic injury research for the past 20 years. He co-authored a best-selling textbook Whiplash Injuries: the Cervical Acceleration/Deceleration Syndrome (now in its third edition), along with several other books, textbook chapters, and almost 300 professional papers. He is board certified in Orthopaedics, Forensic Medicine, and Accident Reconstruction.
Dr. Croft is a grant proposal reviewer at the National Institute of Health (NIH), and a manuscript reviewer for the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE). He has also worked on several research projects at the RAND Corporation.
He received an Emmy nomination in 1991 from the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences for his role in the production Whiplash.
He lectures extensively in the U.S. and internationally, including his advanced four-module program on traumatic auto injuries for doctors and lawyers.
